Should I go to my abusers funeral?

I think you should seriously think of going...just for the closure..yes it may bring somethings to the surface for you to deal with now..but seems like that is going to happen regardless if you go or not. If you sit at the back of the service, if at anytime you feel unable to cope you can quietly slip out. I have some experience with this situation so please feel free to email me if you would like.
